Our core school hours are from 9:00am to 3:30pm. Drop off for the core hours are 8:30 – 9:00am; pick up for the core hours are 3:30 – 4:00pm. Early/late fees are charged at a rate of $5 per child per late/early.
Parents can register their child for our extended hours program. Our extended hours program consists of outside play time, activities like puzzles and Lego, colouring, snack time (snack not provided), and reading. Extra-curricular activities are available for a fee.
Trinity Montessori School’s programs are five days per week. Although we offer half-day programs for the Toddler and Casa level, either mornings or afternoons, we do not offer programs less than five days per week (eg. alternate day programs) in order to allow students to benefit fully from the Montessori curriculum in a consistent manner.
Trinity Montessori School currently has approximately 80 students. Since its establishment in 1999, our reputation has grown steadily and in 2007 we opened our North Campus at 9221 Woodbine Avenue, adjacent to the main school building at 9211 Woodbine Avenue.
Trinity Montessori School accepts children from 18 months old into our toddler program. Our Casa program takes children from 2.5 years old. They should be progressing well at home with toilet training.
Trinity Montessori School’s Casa classrooms each have one Teacher and one Assistant. Our teachers are fully qualified Montessori teachers who have completed a MACTE-accredited Montessori teachers training program, and our Casa student maximum is 23 students per room. Thus, most rooms’ ratio is 1:8 and our maximum ratio is 1:11.

Very, very low. Our staff has been very consistent from year-to-year. We are proud to say that many of our staff have been with Trinity Montessori School for 3 to 6 years. This provides your child with a consistent and reliable environment in which to thrive. Low staff turnover can be a good sign that a school is a stable, established and pleasant place to be.
Yes. Trinity Montessori School’s teachers complete two comprehensive report cards each year for every student. Our specialist teachers’ remarks and/or grades are included where applicable. We encourage close communication between parents and teachers and schedule parent-teacher interviews two times per school year.
Yes. Trinity Montessori School values physical education for our students. Our Casa students benefit from the scheduled free play in our large, fully-fenced grassed yard, or on our age-appropriate play structure. Also, full-day Casa students make good use of our spacious classrooms on a daily basis, with yoga, stretching, active games and tumbling.
Our older Casa students (age 5+ years) and our elementary students participate in physical education classes at Angus Glen Community Centre, on Major Mackenzie Dr between Warden Ave. and Kennedy Rd. in Markham. This fabulous new community centre provides our students with swimming lessons in the Fall, skating lessons in the Winter, and multi-sports lessons in the Spring.
All instruction is provided by approved instructors in their respective sports. Parents are aware of the times and days of the lessons, and are welcome to come out and watch their children!
